Any word on when the list of panels and workshops will be released?

The program schedule is about 85% completed, but we're still nailing down some of our guest events and doing some last-minute shuffling due to cancellations, waitlist substitutions, etc. We will definitely have the full schedule posted online the week before the convention, and we hope to have the confirmed panel list/descriptions up even sooner.

What's the difference between a regular panel and a "WORKSHOP" panel? Workshops are longer?

you work on a something in a workshop, in a panel it will most likely be you sitting in a chair listening to someone talk.

What's the difference between a regular panel and a "WORKSHOP" panel? Workshops are longer? Workshops are interactive instruction -- you're making a craft (origami, mizuhiki) or learning new skills (sword combat, wig styling). Panels can be informative or entertaining, but you're generally not participating in a hands-on project; it's usually someone talking and demonstrating up front, rather than you doing things yourself. FYI, the complete program guide and panel schedule is now online: www.animeworldexpos.com/2015-program-guide-schedule-available-for-download/
